I met Richard Mekdeci, the heart and soul of Itoi Music, at the recent (August 2007) IONS (Institute of Noetic Sciences) Conference. In addition to Richard's considerable talents as an inspirational singer-songwriter and musician, Richard is a co-founder of I to i Ministries,, a non-profit dedicated to bringing positive spiritual music to people of all faith traditions. Part of what I to i Ministries and Richard have created is an opportunity to vote on your favorite songs, which can be accomplished online.Their latest compilation CD, Imagination to Inspiration, is a truly wonder-filled chalice of heart-opening songs. Every song features inspiring lyrics that invite us to co-create a world where everyone, everywhere feels safe, loved and celebrated. The exceptionally talented Rap artist Jay-Z has released him CD entitled Blueprint. I am very confident and happy to announce that I believe Jay-Z fans, and Rap fans alike will be pleased with this one. With the release of Blueprint Jay-Z's artistic excellence is on full display as Jay-Z has once again delivered a brilliant collection of tracks that could very well be him best work to date.Blueprint kicks off with an outstanding track, The Ruler's Back, that I suspect will be heard on radio stations everywhere, and deservedly so. It really is a very nice track.Jay-Z is one of those musicians that has the ability to just win you over with him talent. The kind of artist it's really a treat to be able to listen to.I'm of the opinion that Blueprint is certainly Jay-Z's best work in a few years. A totally enjoyable CD and an outstanding release. What I call must have music.
