Congratulations Brantley Gilbert, you are my first review. I did a simple search on MySpace to find who I was going to review first and to tell you the truth, I am so glad I stumbled upon Brantley Gilbert.Now I wasn't able to learn much about this guy from his MySpace page. I guess he just wanted to let the music speak for itself.The first thing I noticed while waiting on the music to load was the tour dates. This guy must be on the edge of stardom. He has bookings all the way through December. Some people may not understand how huge that is but that is HUGE! To be in a working band is a musicians dream. Everlasting Life is the latest release from Gospel Music Star Kim Burrell, and I can only think of one word to describe it... AWESOME!The CD kicks off with a great track, I'll Keep Holding On, that I anticipate will be heard on radio stations everywhere, and deservedly so. It really is a very nice track.The nice thing about a CD like this is when the talent is this rich even if Gospel isn't your favorite style you still can't help but appreciate the greatness of the artist.Overall Everlasting Life is an outstanding release. Quite possibly Kim Burrell's best to date. Really spectacular from beginning to end. I can describe the latest release from Smooth Jazz sensation Boney James for you with just one word... Outstanding!Refreshingly, this was one of those CDs I was able to just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.Shine has a nicely varied, mix of 12 tracks that are very well put together by this clearly saxophone playing artist. The thing I enjoy about Boney James music is that it produces a lot of the kind emotion that makes for a really great listen. Seemingly drawing from what I can only imagine are his own real life experiences. At different points touching on the most real emotions of love, and the pain of failed relationships can certainly be heard. That's some serious horn blowing.Boney James is one of those musicians that has the ability to just bowl you over with his talent.
